Customer Support Specialist:

The Customer Support Specialist understands the value of good communication skills and effective problem-solving. This role is confident in client communication and investigating issues reported by the customer, even when they need to request more information to answer customer questions or resolve complaints. The goal of this role is to provide rapid, high-quality issue responses and resolution to customers, ensuring excellent service standards to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Manager of Customer Support, this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing incoming customer issues/requests through various channels (calls, emails)
  • Work all correspondences and follow-ups via Hubspot
  • Respond rapidly to recognize individual customer service requests and needs, resolve their inquiry, and provide and maintain follow-ups when necessary
  • Maintain and update customer-related information on Hubspot
  • Provide resolutions at the first point of contact, avoiding transferring the call or having to call the client back whenever possible
  • Continue to learn and grow in product knowledge of all areas of School Pathways offerings
  • Escalate “at risk” accounts to manager of support immediately
  • Work with a sense of urgency to get resolution
  • Respond to all inquiries within one business day
  • Escalate bug and troubleshooting issues to tier 2 and management within the same day
  • Adhere to processes and procedures set forth by management
  • Any other tasks and duties as deemed appropriate by the executive team at School Pathways
