Position Overview
School Pathways is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Trainer I to support the development and delivery of user-focused training experiences. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education technology and is excited to grow their skills in training delivery, support, and user engagement. You will work directly with our training and implementation teams to ensure new and existing School Pathways SIS users feel confident and successful in navigating the system.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver live and virtual training sessions across user groups. This includes:
- Presentations
- Interactive workshops
- Online Trainings
- Job-specific playbooks and handouts
- In-Person/On-site Training
- Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions, providing guided walkthroughs and addressing real-time user questions.
- Support new customer onboarding by facilitating targeted training paths, gathering feedback, and refining content to meet evolving needs.
- Collaborate with the Professional Services Team to identify where supplemental training is needed.
- Continuously update training documentation and recorded content to align with new product features and user needs.
- Maintain alignment with the Knowledge Base by submitting updates and collaborating with internal teams on content accuracy.
- Develop a strong understanding of all School Pathways integration bridges including LMS and third-party tools and actively support the rollout and adoption.
- Provide training at conferences and user academies as needed.
- Maintain a collaborative mindset and actively contribute to team initiatives to ensure alignment with the department’s vision and objectives.
- Other duties as assigned by the department.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in training, adult learning, or instructional design within a SaaS or SIS environment.
- Experience with School Pathways or other SIS platforms is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable with training technologies: Zoom, Loom, Google Slides, or LMS tools.
- Ability to simplify technical workflows for non-technical users.
- A willingness to learn and explain technical processes to a non-technical audience.
- Experience in K–12 education is a plus, but not required.
Location & Travel
- Remote
- Up to 10% travel for team events or conferences
Additional Information
- Target start date: August 1st, 2025
- Budgeted salary range: $55,000 – $59,000
